    In Memory of Rosa Parks

    This scene took place in the United States on December 1st 1955.

    A black woman went on a bus, sat down and the driver wanted her to move at the back, but she refused to move.

    So the driver called the police and Rosa was arrested. She went to prison / jail.

    She was arrested because black people

    HAD TO sit at the back of the bus.

    They / The African Americans COULD NOT sit at the front of the bus.

    Actually / In fact / Basically this document is an example of segregation in America in the 1950s.
