This is a picture from Friends. The scene takes place in New York City.
There are four (4) characters: Rachel, Ross, Monica and Chandler.
The boys think Rachel is beautiful. She is a waitress. She works in a restaurant. She is friendly, funny and clumsy. She is Ross's ex-girlfriend. She lives with Monica.Ross is a paleontologist / a doctor in archeology. He is shy and clever. He loves Rachel / He is in love with Rachel. He works in a museum. He is Monica's brother and Rachel's ex-boyfriend.
Monica is a cook / a chef. She works in a restaurant. She is bossy / authoritarian and she is obsessed with cleaning. SHe wants to be perfect. She is Ross's sister. She loves Chandler.
Chandler is a businessman, he works for a big company. He is funny, easygoing, and clumsy. He loves Monica. He lives with Joey.
Pour présenter quelqu'un, parler de ses caractéristiques, de ses habitudes, on utilise le Présent Simple. Il suffit de mettre le Sujet, puis le verbe.
Le verbe ne change pas, sauf à la 3e personne du singulier (He / She / It), on ajoute alors un 'S'. Ex: She works in a restaurant. She lives in NYC.
Amel is LIKE Rachel, because she is clumsy.
Sofiane is LIKE Joey, because he is a womanizer!
Pour comparer 2 choses, 2 personnes (dire 'comme'), on utilise LIKE
Ex: He is LIKE his father
