Thomas's letter
This document is a letter from Thomas to his mummy. Thomas was a child who was evacuated during the war.
Thomas was sad because his family was horrible and he was punched bullied by the other children.
His village was bombed but his home was not bombed. Ten people were killed by the German bombs.
Thomas slept in the basement.
Thomas was squashed on the train, he couldn't go to the bathroom, so he wet himself.
He received a letter from his dad.

This document is a letter from Thomas to his mummy. Ms El Rhrib thinks he was sent to the countryside with other children. Maybe he was from London or Manchester...
He hated his house because he slept in the basement and his family was horrible.
Thomas was bullied and punched by a child of the family.
The town was bombed and 10 people were killed, so he couldn't go out.
During the journey on the train he wet himself because he was squashed and he couldn't go to the toilet...
