THE BIG INTERVIEW

• Did you go to the supermarket or the swimming pool last weekend?

• No, I didn't go to the supermarket...

• What did you watch on TV yesterday?

• I watched « Plus belle la vie »!

• Did you play football yesterday?

• No, I didn't play football yesterday.

→ Pour poser une question au passé, on a besoin de « DID ». Il indique que la question est au passé, donc pas besoin de changer le verbe:

Ex: Did you go to the cinema?

→ Dans les phrases négatives, le « DON'T » du présent devient « DIDN'T ». Le verbe ne change pas non plus dans les négations:

Ex: No, I didn't go to the cinema, because I watched TV.
