ACTIVITY 2

It is stressful, it makes me stressed.

It sounds like a bomb or a clock.

It makes me think about terrorists, dangers, criminals, threats...

ACTIVITY 3

1. Ce document parle du concert de Lady Gaga à Paris en Octobre (« Oct° 21^st 2010 » « Gaga cancels Paris concert »).

2. Elle a annulé à cause des grèves, des manifestations (« French people protested against the new reform »)

3. Elle va déplacer ses concerts français au mois de Décembre (« She preferred to postpone the concerts to... December »)

4. Elle était en Allemagne. Les gens l'ont trouvé incroyable (« absolutely incredible »)

5. Elle avait porté une « robe de viande » aux MTV VMAs. Elle avait dit que c'était pour choquer et attirer l'attention des gens sur le problème de l'homosexualité dans l'armé.

ACTIVITY 4

Last weekend, FIRST I went to play Playstation at my friend's house. We played « Call of Duty », we killed enemies / terrorists. It was amazing!

NEXT / THEN, we ate a big pizza and drank Coke / Coca-Cola.

LATER / LATER ON, we went out and we met Djahida! We spoke with her. We told (tell) her to come and she accepted! She said she was not happy, because she was the only girl. FINALLY / EVENTUALLY she called Siham and she asked her to come too...
