The NBA means « National Basketball Association », it is the American basketball championship.
It was created in 1946. There are 30 teams, 15 in the East ('Eastern Conference') and 15 in the West ('Western Conference').
There are 82 matches in the regular season.
After the regular seasons, there are the « Playoffs », it is the final tournament.
The logo represents Jerry West, a former Los Angeles player.
Mr Boudouhi thinks the best player of all time was Michael Jordan. He played for the Chicago Bulls.
Last year, the Lakers won the Championship and the best player was Kobe Bryant (M.V.P.)
